Production Methodology (RBD Process)

1

Degumming

Crude oil is treated with water/acid to remove phospholipids and other gum-like substances.

2

Neutralization

Free fatty acids are neutralized using alkali, reducing FFA to minimal levels.

3

Bleaching

Activated clay/carbon removes color pigments and impurities, achieving crystal clear appearance.

4

Deodorization

Steam distillation under vacuum removes odor and flavor for a neutral taste.

5

Quality Control

Final testing ensures all parameters meet food-grade standards before packaging.

Notes:
  • Not detected = no analyte was found at or above the laboratory’s detection limit.
  • Below the quantification limit means the analyte may be present, but at a level lower than the lab can measure reliably. We report this as “< LOQ” with the LOQ value shown.
  • Specification references the applicable product/internal or FSSR 2011 limit (e.g., “≤ 1.0 meq/kg”).
